Watsonian Monarch Sidecar

Watsonian Monarch child/adult sidecar dating from the late 1940s.

The sidecar was removed from a rigid frame Triumph Speed Twin and the fittings are still present for that application.

It has been in dry storage for many years and is in original, untouched condition, including the tattered canvas roof.

The chassis is in very good condition as are the wheel bearings and links.

I think this is an ideal project or a good donor for someone who wants to fit a chair with a patina.

Note, the screen has been damaged and the veneer is lifting slightly on the woodwork, but all these things can be dealt with by the new owner.
